"You people are so awkward.."

Well, the last first day of high school is over. Kind of bittersweet. But I am oh so ready for this! This year is going to be amazing, I can just feel it. After looking forward to this day for years and years, it seems strange that it should be here, now, so soon! (Although, sitting in the cushy chairs at chapel will be AWESOME.) Sometimes I wish our little group of seniors could stay together forever, but I know that won't happen. However, there are a few specials who I will be best friends forevs with!

Mainly lunch with my best friends Jess and Daniel was the best part of the whole day. Friendship and pizza totally go together. I love how I can talk to them about anything, and literally anything! Most of the things we talk about are on either the serious or slightly awkward side. Topics include: what makes a boy "cute", how awkward our wedding nights are going to be, and why drinking and tattoos are considered satanic in the South. Yeah, we pretty much cover the entire spectrum.

On the way there we totally jammed out to some Five For Fighting. I must admit, this is one of my all-time forever and always favorite bands.


Also, today my Bible teacher used the word "ghetto" in the wrong sense.
Example: "Man, repainting your car with a paintbrush is so ghetto." <~~(true story. I saw one like that once.)
Her use: "Yeah, Jamaica's poorer areas are very ghetto.

Moral of the Story: Adults should not use teenager words. They always sound so weird when they try to.
